Acts 11 reminds me of the chorus in the children’s song “Jesus Loves the Children of the World”.  It says, “Red, brown, yellow, black and white they are precious in His sight.  Jesus loves the little children of the world.”
It is doesn’t matter the color of your skin, the amount of money you have, the amount of sin you’ve committed in your life, or anything…God loves YOU!

Also, Acts 11 tells us about a man that we all need to have one, two, or a few of in our lives.  I’ve got some spiritual cheerleaders in my life.  I call them my Barnabases.  Acts 11:23-24 tells us about Barnabas and what he said:

  • Barnabas was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith. When he went to Antioch and saw how God had blessed the believers there, he was very happy. He encouraged them all, saying, “Always be faithful to the Lord. Serve him with all your heart.”

What do you think?  Let’s say this together and follow through with the appropriate action:

  • Two bits, four bits, six bits a dollar.  All for Jesus, stand up and holler!!

Woohoo!!!  Did you stand?  Shoot, don’t just stand up, jump up and down and let people wonder what you’re up to.
I hope you take Barnabas’s advice and “Always be faithful to the Lord. Serve him with all your heart.”
Blessings and God’s abundant love to y’all!  Woohoo!!
