Me, Mrs. Anita (the recreations center's director), and Amber

What a blessing this mission trip has been.  I have met new friends from Texas, South Carolina, Alabama, and other parts of Florida.  We have various commonalities, differences, ages, and backgrounds, but the one that unifies us is that we are all Christians who just want to share God’s love with others to make a difference in this world.  Glory!
We’ve had basketball and football camps all week.  Today (Thursday) the University of Alabama baseball team joined us for a baseball clinic.  There have been two VBS clinics being coordinated by two different youth groups, sewing classes for all ages (always a packed house), a “No Boys Allowed” class with fun girlie activities and videos for teen girls, and a financial class for adults was offered.  Painting and jewelry making classes were well attended. The Pregnancy Care Center from Plant City gave much needed mommy and baby items away, and provided moms and moms-to-be with a wealth of information.  We’ve had people doing construction, organization, and mowing acres and acres of land.  Loving on children of all ages was at the top of the priority list.  I don’t believe some of our backs will straighten up for a while due to the numerous piggy-back rides given. It was a busy week with a variety of activities to participate in, and it was all totally worth it.

Dr. Miller with a two day old baby boy. His mother had come to see Darlene with the Pregnancy Care Center, got saved, delivered the baby the next day, and then came back to show us. Precious! This baby is hte new owner of a crib that was brought up to AL. Did you get that? The new momma BELIEVES in Christ!

I believe we have left Eutaw, Alabama with a great impression of God’s love.

Holly, making a difference in the lives of others.

I believe that Eutaw has left an impression on us as well.  Our hearts are overflowing with compassion and love for them all.
I believe many residents did not want us to leave.
I believe that about fifty-six people of all ages understand Acts 16:31, Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.”
Yes, I do believe that the folks in Eutaw did receive the message of God’s love.  I do not know for sure if all those who say they accepted Christ truly did, but I do believe that that decision is between them and God.  I hope and pray that they will commit their lives to Christ and make a difference in that community.
People believe in many things.  You often hear others, and self, say “I believe I can (you fill in the blank).”  But the one thing that you can truly believe in and will make a definite difference is to believe in the Lord Jesus as your personal Savior.

Our fearless leaders for the week: Will and Amber Davis (1st Baptist) and Katie and John Zeller (S.C.O.R.E. International).

We made a difference in Alabama.  Now it’s time for you to make sure you make a difference in your life and/or the lives of others.
Blessings to you.
