Who knew that I didn’t have to pay for a pedicure in order to have beautiful feet?
I remember that one of the first bible verses that my pastor told me to memorize when I became a Christian was Romans 10:13.

  • For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Praise God!  But a few things have to happen first.  Romans 10:14 and 15 say:

  • 14 But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? 15 And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”

So before anyone can call upon the Lord, someone must be sent to share the Good News, and then after they’ve heard about Jesus Christ they must then believe in Him.  Then, you can call upon His name.
Verse 15 says that the one who shares the Good News has beautiful feet.
I’m doing it!  At least I’m trying.  I want all to know about The Good News. My God is a god of peace and He has brought salvation (His Son, Jesus Christ) for ALL.  I pray that all will come to know Him and grow in Him.
Isaiah 52:7 says:

  • How beautiful on the mountains
are the feet of the messenger who brings good news,
the good news of peace and salvation,
the news that the God of Israel reigns!

And just think…Holly and I went to get a pedicure yesterday.  It appears that I didn’t need to spend my money to have pretty feet, just share Jesus and His love with others.  I’m a day late and a few dollars short, but my toes sure look pretty.
