Giving help to the poor is like loaning money to the Lord. He will pay you back for your kindness. Proverbs 19:7
A group of friends from my church left this week to go to Haiti to help “the poor”. I want to encourage you to pray for them while they are serving for God.
When good things are happening for God, Satan gets jealous. He tries to finagle his way in to destroy or stop the plans that God has. Satan has already tried to stop a couple of my friends from going, but God said, “I don’t think so.” So they made it, and all is well. This excites me, because this means that GREAT things are going to happen in Haiti this week!
You don’t have to travel far, if at all, to help others. God desires for us to serve Him and others wherever we are.
Let today be a day of serving others, and God will repay you for you kindness.
