Have I told you lately how COOL God is? Well, I’m sure I have, but I’ll say it again… “He is phenomenal!”
Just yesterday I journaled about “dreary days”, and today…stunningly blue skies shown above, and the temperature was perfect!
It was as if God said, “Hey, you’re tired of grey and gloomy skies? Okay, I’ll make it shine for you.”
God knew what He was doing when He made me a Florida girl. (Seriously? Did I just say that? He always knows what He’s doing. It’s us that messes things up.) I LOVE my sunshine and blue skies.
In Psalms 71:19 we read, “God, Your goodness reaches far above the skies. You have done wonderful things. God, there is no one like You.” Amen and amen!
Yes! I look to the blue sky today and smiled. But His goodness reaches beyond those blue skies. I believe that God shows us only glimpses of His true glory here on earth. I love my sunsets, blue skies, mountains, beaches, colors of the fall leaves, and other displays of nature, but I must ponder that if I’m in awe of those God-made exhibitions now, the glory that is waiting for us in heaven will totally blow my mind.
Day 9 LOVE….blue skies that make me smile.
Ooops, another thought just popped into my mind. We just may (probably will) go through “grey skies” times in our lives. But if we stay close to God and draw our strength from Him in those moments, the glory we will see in the end will be quiet fabulous. Stay close to God. He’s got “blue skies” to share with you.
