jesus loves you CR“He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” Revelation 21:4
Praise the Lord! Just imagine, for those who believe and have accepted Christ into their hearts, we will have no more death, no more sadness, no more crying, no more pain! In heaven, all these things are gone. This makes me just want to do a happy dance, even in times of despair.
Take a glance at the contraries of the words these verses mention:

  • Instead of death, there will be glorious everlasting life!
    • I found it interesting that an antonym for death is hell. Hell is life! When you read synonyms for hell, you’ll discover words like agony, misery, bottomless-pit, suffering, etc. Dear friend, right there alone should make you want to believe, repent, and give your life to Jesus. Who wants to live a life of hell? Heaven means Promise Land, glory, bliss, etc. I choose Jesus. • Instead of sorrow (misery, regret, wretchedness), there will be peace, comfort, blessings, and much joy!
  • Instead of crying, there will be laughter.
  • Instead of pain, there will be peace, joy, pleasure, and relief.

Yesterday I received a text from my husband that a precious friend had lost her brother-in-law and ten-year-old great niece in a car accident in Mississippi that morning. My heart ached! When I texted my friend, come to find out the eight year old niece and seven year old nephew were in the automobile too. The eight year old is in ICU and the boy is home with his grandmother (whom the children live with). In the text my friend mentioned that her brother-in-law “was a great man of God. I have never known anyone like him.” Those words were comforting to read…He was a great man of God. Her words brought a sense of peace in knowing that her loved one is in heaven now. He is in no pain. He is living a life of peace, much joy, no tears at this moment. He is basking in the light and presence of Jesus Christ.
I will never forget the rush of peace which God washed over me during the passing of my mother-in-law. It was through His touch that He held us up, gave us strength, and comforted my family.
God is a god of peace, love, and comfort. He will wipe away every tear from your eye. Yes, there will be tears while we are still present on this earth, but there will be none in Paradise.
I pray for God’s peace to rush over this dear family. May they feel His arms wrapped around them, comforting them in and through this season of their lives and for the rest of their days until they are joined together with Christ and their loved one in heaven. I pray that the family will sense that they are not alone. God is with them. He will never leave nor forsake them.
The same prayer goes for you. Are you going through a season of loneliness, sadness, disappointment, and/or loss of a loved one? God loves and cares for you. Take ahold of His hand and hold on tight. He will give you the strength you need each day. Rely on the Lord for all your needs.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” Psalm 34:18

Maybe my mind and body will become weak, but God is my source of strength.  He is mine forever! Psalm 73:26

God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

I pray that you will enjoy soaking up The Son every moment of each day. –Stephanie
