First of all, I ask that you pray for all people. Ask God to bless them and give them what they need. And give thanks. You should pray for rulers and for all who have authority. Pray for these leaders so that we can live quiet and peaceful lives—lives full of devotion to God and respect for him. This is good and pleases God our Savior.  God wants everyone to be saved and to fully understand the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4
Right now it is almost five o’clock on Election Day. My family and I voted by mail a couple of weeks ago, so there was no need to head to any voting booth and be bombarded by political signs trying to entice me one way or the other. Having the opportunity to vote is a privilege I pray that you all partook in, and prayed the vote.
Throughout the day, I couldn’t help but be grateful to live in America, to want to sing the song “God Bless America”, and to be reminded of The One who truly reigns over all.

I want to encourage you to do as 1 Timothy 2:1-4 instructs us to do.  No matter which candidate is elected into a particular office…pray for them. Ask God to bless them and to give them discernment, wisdom, and to surround themselves with godly counsel.  Thank God for the country that we live in. Pray that our officials and citizens will strive to live a life full of devotion to God and respect for our Saviour. Creating havoc and hatred doesn’t please God. Be respectful and prayerful, and stand strong in your Christian faith.
Remember, Christ IS coming back soon.  He IS The One who reigns over all. Everyone WILL account for themselves. God DOES want everyone to be saved and to fully understand the truth.  The truth WILL set you free, and in a country where we are considered the “land of the free”, let us be the light we are called to be adn shine bright for Christ.  Show others how we can respect the positions of our government officials, and that we will be on bended knee praying for our country.
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
