On March 2-12, 2023, the Florida Strawberry Festival will be in full swing. Leading up to the festival, I’ll be sharing interviews with you on a few festival icons.
Meet Mr. Dub McGinnes. A man who loves his family, our festival, and above all the Lord. When I asked others to describe him, here is what was given: Peace loving, God fearing, admirable, understanding, compassionate, organized, selfless, a leader, godly, incredibly wise, eloquently spoken, a humble servant to others and our Lord, and has more patience than anyone. The list continues…He is one of the finest human beings I have ever known, has a great heart, his love for the Lord is evident in his daily walk, is funny, level-headed, and loving. Wow! What a list of characteristics to have, and not just have but be visible for others to observe and admire.
Dub has to be one of my favorite people. I concur with all descriptions given regarding Mr. McGinnes. This man of integrity sat down for a brief interview with me to talk about faith, family, and the festival.
