New Series: FAITH, FAMILY, AND FESTIVAL

The Florida Strawberry Festival is named as one of the top fairs in America. With just days away from opening day, join me as I interview some familiar faces to the festival, and discuss their faith, family, and the festival.

Part 1; Meet Paul Davis: Blessed, excitable, supporter, gracious leader, a man of integrity, and arresting storyteller.

When I asked others to give me a word that describes Mr. Davis, it was difficult for them to come up with just one word. Paul is a captivating gentleman who makes everyone feel welcomed. After listening to him share stories of work and family, security is a word that could represent his life. Paul’s numerous years as a Hillsborough County Sheriff to security being a top priority of the festival, the most important decision he has made was to secure his relationship with Jesus Christ.

Through various times in Paul’s life, he recognizes that you cannot do life alone. It takes prayer and trust in the Lord to make it on a daily basis.

Paul will soon be retiring from his presidency of the Florida Strawberry Festival. His tenacity and temperament will always be remembered long after he departs his position.

Mr. Davis, I pray that you will enjoy the next phase in life that God has for you. Embrace those grandbabies, keep laughter and love flowing through your life, and continue to be secure in your walk with Christ.

One dear friend wraps up this interview and description of Mr. Davis with this, “Paul is more than a friend, he is my brother. I can truly say that he loves the Lord first, family is everything to him, and he definitely loves the festival. I’m sorry for repeating what your series is, but it is true.”

Blessings to you and yours, and I look forward to seeing y’all at the Festival March 2-12, 2023!
