Well, I’ve already failed.  My husband encouraged me to make short videos.  So, after praying about what God wanted me to do, I (thought) came up with the idea of “Minute-less Mondays”.  The intention is to create a video in one minute or less, then you can go to the website to read the journal entry for more insight if needed (My mom’s great idea!).
I say I failed because, although the video is short, it is just over a minute. Hahahaha.  Nobody’s perfect.
Here’s the first installation of more to come…God willing.  Stay tuned. (See the link at the very bottom to view)
Do you ever feel like you just can’t get life right?  The deeper I dig the dirtier I get.
Maybe your “dirt” is gossip, lying, gambling, sex outside of marriage, sinful thoughts, envy, whatever.  You may think that you must clean yourself up before turning your life over to Christ, and securing your eternal life in glory.
My friend, don’t worry about cleaning yourself up.  God will take you JUST AS YOU ARE, and make you clean.
No matter how nasty you get, God is ready to scrub you down.
But if we confess our sins, God will forgive us. We can trust God to do this. He always does what is right. He will make us clean from all the wrong things we have done. 1 John 1:9
I hope you will choose to look up from the hole you’ve dug, and allow Christ to pull you out.  Stop wallowing around in sin like a pig in mud.  Get out.  Get clean.  Start living!
Many blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
“Don’t change yourselves to be like the people of this world, but let God change you inside with a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to understand and accept what God wants for you. You will be able to know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect.” Romans 12:2
“Our only goal is to always please the Lord, whether we are living here in this body or there with him.” 2 Corinthians 5:9
Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. Romans 8:5-6
We know that our old life was put to death on the cross with Christ. This happened so that our sinful selves would have no power over us. Then we would not be slaves to sin. Romans 6:6
You were spiritually dead because of your sins and because you were not free from the power of your sinful self. But God gave you new life together with Christ. He forgave all our sins. 14 Because we broke God’s laws, we owed a debt—a debt that listed all the rules we failed to follow. But God forgave us of that debt. He took it away and nailed it to the cross. Colossians 2:13-14
“You cannot serve two masters at the same time. You will hate one and love the other, or you will be loyal to one and not care about the other. You cannot serve God and Money at the same time.” Matthew 6:24
