Footprints in the sand.  No, not the beautiful poem about Jesus carrying you, but literally a collection of footprints of all shapes and sizes were imprinted in the sand. Then, this little handprint caught my attention.  The handprint belonged to a small child.  Pressed into the handprint in the sand was a yellow and burnt orange leaf.
I never lost stride in my steps, however my thoughts remained with the handprint.
This handprint was not what I had expected to see with the abundance of footprints in the sand, yet this unexpected vision was a pleasant sight.  It brought a smile on my face.

“Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me. Isaiah 49:16 NASB

YOU are in the palm of God’s hands.  He will never forget you.  It’s like you are tattooed into His hands.
I pray that you will take comfort in knowing that within the abundance of all that God has in His hands, He knows your name and loves you.  May your thoughts remain on Him.
Blessings to you and yours,

Stephanie
