My Day 8 LOVE will be no surprise.  If you’ve spent much time on this site, you can tell that I LOVE what the greatest artist ever paints for us all to see.
The other day I stayed late at work. On my way home I looked towards the west and the sky was magnificent!  The colors were vibrant and ever changing.  I tried to capture the sky on my camera, but I couldn’t find the perfect picture.  I drove down different roads so that there were no power lines or other obstacles in the way.  I thought I had a great idea and drove towards our small airport. Before I reached my destination, the colors had changed, the sun was setting even further beyond the horizon, and the “perfect” picture moment was gone.  God allowed me to capture it all in my mind though.
Maybe it’s because we’ve had a few dreary days lately, or the fact that I got a little excited when I saw a little bit of the sky glow over downtown Tampa tonight, but my LOVE for today has to be sunsets.  I am sooooo ready for grey skies to go away, and the orange, pink, blue, purple, peach, turquoise, and whatever other color God decides to throw on His atmospheric pallet to return.
Psalm 65:8 says, “The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy.
Joy, Joy, Joy I’ll sing all day long when I see the glorious sunrise or sunset.  (Especially when I get to see “the green flash”.  Sorry, Tim, I’m not alone in seeing it. Haha)
I pray God’s abundant love and blessing for y’all.
