cast all your cares“For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
Good day. When I read today’s scripture, peace, joy, and hope washed over me. My thoughts went to a sense of urgency to share God’s love and forgiveness, and to all those who are going through various struggles right now. Yes, the struggle is real…and you are not alone.
On April 23rd, I had posted: “I need your help. Please private message me (unless you really want to put it in the comments)…what is something you struggle with? (All is private and I will pray for you too.) You can just say it in one word or give detail. Up to you. I’m working on something, and ready to dig deep in the Word for answers. Thanks!!”
I received an abundant amount of messages of difficult situations and feelings that many are going through. All those struggles and each name is written (still) on my prayer wall, and in my heart. Please know that if you were one of those who replied, you are still on my mind and in my prayers daily.
Since my own written devotionals have been so minimal, I’m thinking that God’s been working on me as well with some struggles in my life.
We all have struggles in life. You may think: “I’m all alone”, “My difficulty is nothing compared to others, so why should I feel so distraught”, “I just can’t take it any more”, or “(You fill in the blank with your own thoughts you’ve had)”. Friend, no matter how great or minimal your situation is, please know that God is on your side.
Here are some verses to get you through today. Yes, today. I pray that you will take one day at a time, and be filled with the peace, joy, and hope that can only come from Jesus.

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy burden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

“God, you give true peace to people who depend on you, to those who trust in you. So trust the LORD always, because in the LORD YAH you have a place of safety forever.” Isaiah 26:3-4

“The peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7

God is greater than our worried hearts and knows more about us than we do ourselves.” 1 John 3:20

“Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7

By the way, my studying and time with Jesus regarding the struggles in life continues. If you have a difficult endeavor that you want to share with me for prayer, I’m here for you.
Have a beautiful day. Enjoy soaking up The Son wherever you are. He is there. Love and blessings to you, Stephanie.
