You asked for it…It’s Beach Time! A new style is available for y’all!
I’m so grateful for those who have purchased the Soaking Up The Son logo shirts thus far.  All sales, until April 7^th, will continue to go towards my friend’s four-five weeks, Guatemala mission trip this summer.
It’s not about the logo.  It’s the meaning behind the logo.
Allow me to explain the thought (random/“squirrel”  at times, but…) behind it:
In Hebrew 6:19a, we read, “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.”  For me, my hope is in Christ.  He is my firm foundation on which I build my life upon. Though my thoughts may wonder at times, His anchor  grounds me and brings me back to safety. I have a confident hope that I will be in heaven when life on earth is over.  Times may get troubling in life, but when we look ahead as to what is to come, THAT is HOPE.  Christ, my Hope, is firm and secure. Praise Him!
The rope, which is in the shape of an S for my name, reminds me that I need hang on  to Jesus.  Friend, hang on  when times are grand, slippery, or even when you feel that you’re drowning. Hang on to Christ!
The sun in the background is because I am a Florida girl who loves time on the water, the beach, and observing God’s “rise-and-shine” every chance I get.  When I observe His sunset and/or sunrise, I’m reminded Who the greatest artist ever is.  I’m reminded that although we are in awe of the magical colors and movement of the sky as the sun appears or disappears, WE are His masterpiece.  I’m reminded that even when I am unable to see the sun because it may be a cloudy day, it is always rising or setting, because God is always present.
Notice that the sun is directly behind the cross-shaped portion of the anchor.  This is to remind us that The Son needs to be the center of our lives, and we need to focus on Him daily.
So…when you purchase a Soaking up The Son t-shirt, you are supporting my friend, Cherity Miller, in her unforgettable adventure to Guatemala.  You are “wearing and sharing” a testimony.  It is my hope that, while you are wearing your SUTS shirt, you will be able to give your own testimony about how God is the center of your life and that He is your secure hope.
