Tim and I were on our way to meet some friends for dinner.  We were at a stop light when I noticed how the sun was shining brightly where we were at the moment, but looking past the stoplight, we could see the massive and dark storm clouds ahead.  I said, “Don’t we wish we had stoplights in our lives warning us of a storm getting ready to blow through our lives? But when the light turns green…oh boy…we know we will have to go through the storm, but also know that God is with us.”
Yellow light:  Wait a minute.  Slow your roll. There’s trouble ahead.  You need to make sure that you trust Me from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own.  Listen for My voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; I’m the one who will keep you on track. (Paraphrased from Proverbs 3:5-6 MSG) -God
Red light: Stop.  Get ready.  There may be times that the storm is so thick you can barely see in front of you.  Remember, I commanded you to be strong and brave. Don’t be afraid, because I will be with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9 ERV). So, whatever you do, don’t go to sleep at the switch. Pray constantly that you will have the strength and wits to make it through everything that’s coming and end up on your feet before the Son of Man. (Luke 21:36 MSG) I am with you. -God
Green light:  Go!  You’re in it now.  Remember that you are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. (2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NIV). Sure, you may feel trampled on, hopeless, deserted, and devastated, but you are My child.  Be strong. I’m working in and through you. -God
Sometimes you don’t even see the yellow caution light.  You just get hit straight on with the green light. Your life is okay, then WHAM the storm is fierce.
Friend, just like the sun will shine when the storm passes, and you may even see a rainbow reminding you of God’s promise, you will get through this.  You just may find that your life will be better than okay. To God be all the glory during and after your storm.
I’m right here praying for you.  Put on the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and be ready.
Just one more note from God:

These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world. John 16:33

Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
